The provincial minister KPK Farman Shah has said that the government of KP was new and inexperienced in holing the elections under their democratic government. He also said, while expressing his views outside the CM House in Peshawar, that the old local body elections were conducted under the martial law and the circumstances were very different.
The provincial minister stated that the government was inexperienced, but blamed ECP for the irregularities. He also said the PTI was the victim of rigging in the local body elections and the PML-N government should resign first and the PTI will follow them by resigning and dissolving KPK assembly.
Farman Shah said the All Parties Conference is called on June 9 to discuss the matter of local body elections and rigging. He also said that the KP government is ready to organize the elections again; if all parties want to go this way. He also said that the PTI government will accept all the decision made in the APC and they will also open any constituency that is doubtful. If any party will not appear in the APC that will be assume that the party has no objection will the current elections, he said.
On the question about the strike in KPK, he said that all the parties have the right to do peaceful protest in the democratic government of KPK.
