On Wednesday, bail has been granted to Ali Amin Gandapur, Revenue Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He was arrested on Monday night for the allegation of taking ballot boxes from the polling station in KP local body (LB) elections.

Earlier, on the arrest of Gandapur, one-day physical remand had been granted to the KP police. He was charged for taking away the ballots boxes in his car along with his brother Umar Amin Gandapur, candidate for tehsil nazim when he was losing the vote count at the Hemath Adda polling Station.

On duty police officials tried to stop the provincial minister but they failed.
