The Anti-terrorism court in Gujranwala sent Inspector Shehzad Warraich on a physical remand of 12 days on the allegation of killing two notable lawyers in Daska. The preceding of the court happened earlier today.

The Joint investigation team’s official Muhammad Qasim presented Shehzad Warraich in court and requested a 15 days remand for the accused. However, the court only granted a 12 days remand and the court’s proceedings were adjourned till June 8.

The suspect was brought to court early in the morning amid high security. All these steps were taken to prevent any clash between the lawyers and police. When the lawyer’s community came to know about the decision of the court; they strongly criticized it.

The incident happened in the Daska city where two lawyers were killed in a clash between the lawyers and police. Paramilitary forces were deployed after the incident to control the unrest.
