hang-crimeEleven convicted felons on death row were executed earlier this morning (Tuesday). Executions took place in jails across Baluchistan and Punjab.

In the Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore two convicted murderers were hanged. Convict Shakil murdered a person in 1998 and Sher Ali committed a murder in 2001.

Two convicts were hanged in the Central jail, Faisalabad. Iftikhar Ahmed had killed three individuals in 2001 over an argument while Asif Zeb was responsible for the murder of a person in 1998.

Two other convicts of murder were also hanged ; Ishaq was executed in Sahiwal while Muhammad Nawaz was executed in Gujaranwala.

In Multan Central Jail, Rana Faryad was hanged after he was convicted of murdering his cousin over a trivial argument.

Death row inmate Mohammad Afzal was executed in Jhelum District Jail.

Amjad Ali was executed in Sargodha Jail, he was found guilty of murder after rape of his niece, along with the murders of two kids who witnessed the incident.

Convict Anwar Ahmed was hanged in the District Jail of Toba Tek Singh. He was charged with murders of six family members, his father and brother being ones of them over property conflict.

In Mach Central Jail, Ibrahim was executed after being charged with murder he committed in 2003.
