The former Pakistan fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar has applauded and paid respect to the courageous decision of Zimabawe team to tour Pakitsan when there was no team to visit here. He appreciated their gesture to support Pakistan but admitted that he would be restless until they had boarded their planes safely back for the return trip.
He said “I really want them to have a safe journey. It is significant, but at the same time, like everyone else I’m a bit scared. I’m concerned about their safety like anyone else” it’s not less than a challenge to give this tour a happy ending. The enemies of Pakistan will not spare a chance to disgrace it.
Nowadays, Shoaib Akhtar is one of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 commentators in Mumbai. He was a little tensed on the tour of Zimbabwe team due to the prevailing uncertain security environment but showed generosity and asked to hope for the best. He said.In the end he said,” I wish they stay safe and sound and enjoy Pakistan’s hospitality. It’s a great country and people, magnificent people. The most hospitable people you will find,”
